Four in ten teenage girls have considered plastic surgery concluded a survey by Bliss magazine.
With the average age as little as fourteen, the 2,000 girls quizzed said the pressure to obtain the “perfect” body image came from celebrities.
Let’s rewind and consider the age of fourteen. Fourteen is barely adolescence, not a time to be considering surgically enhancing parts of their body, or for the matter, even thinking about it for later years.
Following the new law last year in April when banning all cosmetic surgery for under 18s, this crackdown is leaping into this year with the Government endlessly trying to prevent putting cosmetic surgery in a positive life. The cosmetic surgery industry is constantly criticised for preying on young girls.
Health Minister Reba Meagher states:
"I want teenage girls to be able to consider the risks and discuss the need for surgery with their parents, without rushing to their decision,"
"I would encourage anyone considering cosmetic procedures to take their time before undergoing surgery."
Young women have conceptualised this ideal image through beautiful public figures, where by the reality of cosmetic surgery risks are put aside and the unnecessary enhancing of body parts are dreamt.

I never though of surgery, even about breasts enhancement. I still believe into natural beauty and my husband loves me as I am - that's the most important!
