and the winner is ... YOU!

The success of women in our community is astronomical in the 21st century. A lot of the time this is bounded up by a lot of support and encouragement of dreams when they were younger.
This October, Elizabeth Blackburn, 60, became the first ever female Nobel Prize winner for her work on enzyme known as telomerase, which helps to assist chromosomes in cells which stop humans from ‘wearing down’ and staying eternally young.
Not only is her work a major breakthrough for the human race, but ‘an inspiration to all young people, especially young women’ says Acting Science Minister Graig Emerson.
Every young woman in our community has a talent in some way, shape or form. It is our duty as woman to explore and encourage these dreams to grow. Let’s continue to set up a pathway for young girls to not only find out what they are talented in, but to chase these dreams no matter how big. Who knows, Elizabeth Blackburn may be given a run for her money??
